- Sixth generation organic rice farmer, involved with women's co-ops in third world, barefoot doctor teaching, women's health education, sustainable agriculture. Writing business plan for fairly traded hand crafted furniture from China, Morocco and India to be sold in Qatar. Future plans (or dreams?) include setting up network of women's co-ops making organic cheese in third world. Love ideas and help. Relocating to Qatar in June.

I have another business that sells backpack beverage dispensing equipment world wide and have sold some to Nestle for Qatar that are used to sample beverages. Maybe you have seen them on the streets over there and you can see what my product is at www.thirstenders.com

I do quite a bit of work with Engineers Without Borders (USA), and am really enjoying the book "Just and Lasting Change" (Taylor/Taylor-Ide). The model for implementing long-lasting improvements is great, and there are loads of great parallels with my web/database implementation work. Thanks for creating the Middle East group as well!
